Connolly in U21s Against Millwall - Ipswich Town News

New winger Dylan Connolly will make his first appearance in a Town shirt since joining the Blues last week when the U21s face Millwall at Playford Road this afternoon (KO 1pm).

The Irishman, a free agent having left Shelbourne at the end of the season in Ireland in November, signed an 18-month deal with an option for a further season.

With the first team in action against Sheffield Wednesday at home tomorrow, manager Mick McCarthy has confirmed that none of his senior players will be involved.

First-year pro Kyle Hammond will continue his comeback after 10 months out with an anterior cruciate knee ligament injury, while Darren McQueen, Ben Wyatt and Kundai Benyu will also be in the squad.
