Legends of Darts Academy Fundraiser - Ipswich Town News

Kevin Painter and Keith Deller are taking part in the second Town Legends of Darts Night to raise funds for the Academy Association on Tuesday 7th April at Greshams Sport and Social Club in Tuddenham Road (7pm).

The evening, which will be hosted by Russ Bray, will include a darts exhibition match featuring 1983 World Champion and ex-Blues ballboy Deller and 2004 World finalist and Sir Bobby Robson Stand season ticket holder Painter, while Stephen Hunt, Noel Hunt, Tyrone Mings and Daryl Murphy are expected to be amongst the current players joining some ex-Blues on the oche.

At last year’s event, which raised several thousand pounds for the Academy Association, Aaron Cresswell emerged as the top darts player in the Blues squad and the left-back, now with West Ham, hopes to come back to defend his crown this time around.

Tickets to the event, which is again being sponsored by Evolve Financial Solutions, are £20 each (including bangers and mash) with VIP places £50 per head, which includes dining with either Kevin or Keith and an opportunity to play against the VIP guests. To buy your tickets, visit ITFC Direct.
