Dozzell Wins Cap But England Lose - Ipswich Town News
Academy schoolboy Andre Dozzell played the full 90 minutes for England’s U16s but the midfielder couldn’t prevent his side from falling to a 3-2 defeat to Switzerland in the opening game of the UEFA Development Tournament at St George’s Park this afternoon.
England went into a 2-0 lead but by half-time the Swiss had pegged them back to 2-2 before going on to net a winner after the break.
Dozzell, 15, and this team-mates next face Slovakia on Wednesday and France on Saturday.
