Pro Deal For Benyu - Ipswich Town News

Academy scholar Kundai Benyu is understood to be close to signing a two-and-a-half-year professional contract with the Blues.

The 17-year-old first-year scholar has been a regular in the centre of midfield for the U21s all season and has impressed manager Mick McCarthy.

The Camden-born youngster recently broke into the first-team squad and travelled to the away game at Brighton, having been handed senior squad number 31, but is yet to be included in a matchday 18.
