Quintet Remain Sidelined for Birmingham Clash - Ipswich Town News
David McGoldrick, Darren Ambrose, Stephen Hunt, Luke Hyam and Noel Hunt all remain injured ahead of Tuesday’s home game against Birmingham, but Town boss Mick McCarthy says his squad suffered no new niggles at the weekend.
McGoldrick is expected to return from his thigh problem for Sunday’s derby at Norwich, while Ambrose and Stephen Hunt have hamstring strains and Hyam and Noel Hunt knee injuries, with the latter almost certainly out for the season.
"The lads who are injured are still missing, unfortunately,” McCarthy said. "But the good thing is that there’s nobody else is missing from Saturday.”
