George Burley says that Town need four more wins to ensure Premiership survival. Down and out at Christmas the Blues are now expected to be away from the bottom three come May.
The Town boss said: "We finish the season with matches against Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool. They will all be extremely tough games and we want to get the wins necessary to stay up before then. This means that we will be looking for four victories from our next nine matches — starting with Southampton. If we do that we should be safe."
The Liverpool defeat still appears to be on Burley's mind as he starts to prepare for the early March visit of Southampton: "We have two weeks to prepare for the Southampton match on March 2nd. We lost 6-0 to Liverpool in our last match. That hurt, but it didn't matter whether it was 1-0 or 6-0 we still lost points."
