Bru Called Up - Ipswich Town News
Town midfielder Kevin Bru has been named in the Mauritius squad for their friendlies with Burundi and Togo later this month.
The Mauritians face Burundi on Wednesday 25th March and the Togolese three days later. He'll join up with the squad following Town's game at Watford.
Paris-born Bru, who qualifies for Mauritius via his parents, has previously won two full caps having played for France at U18 and U19 levels.
It’s the first time he has been called up since he joined the Blues last summer following a trial.
The 26-year-old, who missed Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Brentford due to a knee injury, recently signed a new contract running to the summer of 2018 with the club having an option for a further year.
