Murphy and McGoldrick in Ireland Squad - Ipswich Town News

Town strike pair Daryl Murphy and David McGoldrick have been named in a provisional 34-man Republic of Ireland squad ahead of their European Championships qualifier against Poland in Dublin in on Sunday 29th March.

Murphy has won 14 senior caps, while McGoldrick made his Ireland debut in the 4-1 home victory over the USA in November. Both are looking for their first international goals.

Former Blues skipper Jon Walters and ex-loanee Paul Green are also included.

The squad will be reduced prior to assembling on Sunday 22nd March following the Blues’ game at Watford the previous day.
