Bishop Out of England Squad - Ipswich Town News
Town midfielder Teddy Bishop has been withdrawn from the England U19 squad for their European Championships elite round qualifying group games next week.
The 18-year-old is suffering with sore shins and has been left out of the Town squad for today’s game at Watford.
It was the first time the academy product had received an international call. He has been replaced in the squad Reading’s Aaron Kuhl.
Sean O’Driscoll’s side travel to France for the matches and first face Denmark on Thursday 26th March, then Azerbaijan two days later and finally the hosts on Tuesday 31st March. The winners of the group will qualify for the finals in Greece in July.
