David Wright the Next Legend on the Town - Ipswich Town News
The Supporters Club’s third Legends on the Town event of the season takes place at the Dove Street Inn on Friday 10th April and features former full-back David Wright, who is now a coach at the academy (7.30pm, doors open 7pm).
Wright joined the Blues in January 2007 and made 125 starts and three sub appearances, scoring five times, before moving on in June 2010. He hung up his boots earlier in the season while with Colchester United, having already started to work as a coach at Playford Road.
Hosted by Simon Milton, the evening, which is in aid of the academy, will include a question and answer session, as well as a raffle and auction.
