Togolese International Striker Linked - Ipswich Town News
Town are amongst several clubs eyeing Togolese international striker Jonathan Ayité, according to reports in France.
Ayité is currently playing in Turkey with Alanyaspor and is the second top scorer in the Turkish second division having netted 13 league goals in 22 games (14 in 23 in all competitions) since joining them last summer.
The 29-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and French side Reims, Town and Turkish top flight club Konyaspor are reported to be tracking the 6ft tall frontman, who has been capped 15 times by Togo, scoring three times.
Ayité was born in Bordeaux and has spent most of his career playing in France having had spells with hie hometown club Girondins de Bordeaux, Stade Bordelais, Brest (twice) and Nîmes.
