Guldbrandsen Wins Cap - Ipswich Town News
Academy scholar Victor Guldbrandsen won his first Danish U18s cap as his side lost 2-1 away against Romania in Timisoara in the first of two friendlies this afternoon.
The young Danes face the Romanians in the second match at the same venue on Thursday.
Midfielder Guldbrandsen, who was in today’s starting XI, joined the Blues as a second-year scholar in August when he signed a two-year pro deal.
The 18-year-old, who won one U16s cap prior to his time with Town, was previously with Lyngby in his home country and spent time on trial with the Blues and French side St Etienne last season.
