Bramble Toon Link Again - Ipswich Town News
Tabloid reports this weekend again link Titus Bramble with a summer move to Newcastle United. £8 million is the price claimed on this occasion, £2 million up on the last tabloid link a month ago.
Stories linking Newcastle with a move for Bramble first surfaced in early December, but within a few days the player had denied hearing anything from Bobby Robson's club. He told TWTD: "It's rubbish. I've had no contact from Newcastle. I'm staying here."
Bramble has refused to sign an extension to his contract at Portman Road, although he still has two years left on his current deal.
In January George Burley said that there will be no further talks regarding his contract until the summer. Bramble's agent Jonathan Barnett has said that there is plenty of time for Town and his player to agree a new deal.
