Two Saturday Play-Offs If Blues Face Norwich - Ipswich Town News

The Football League have confirmed that both play-off semi-final games would be Saturday lunchtime kick-offs if the Blues meet Norwich City.

Currently the third-against-sixth first leg - which the team in sixth would host - is scheduled for Friday 8th May (KO 7.45pm) but should Town finish sixth and the Canaries third, the match will revert to Saturday 9th at 12.15pm with the fourth-v-fifth game switching to the Friday.

The second leg would also move from Friday 15th (KO 7.45pm) to Saturday 16th (KO 12.15pm) with the fourth-fifth game reverting to the Friday.

If Town and Norwich don’t meet and Watford finish third and Wolves sixth, Friday and Saturday second leg ties will also be switched.

The final at Wembley will be played on Monday 25th May, kicking off at 3pm.

Following last night's 1-0 home defeat to Middlesbrough, the Canaries are currently fourth, while the Blues go into today's match at Wolves in sixth.
