Croft Worry for Saturday - Ipswich Town News
Newly detagged Town wing-back Gary Croft is a worry for Saturday's crunch clash with fellow promotion hopefuls Huddersfield Town. Croft felt his groin go during yesterday's training session but Town are hopeful it will heal sufficiently for Saturday. Definitely out is Mark Venus who is still suffering with his foot injury which has dogged him since pre-season, although it is improving. He hasn't trained for ten days. Others under treatment are Manu Thetis, Adam Tanner and Titus Bramble. Tanner and Thetis are suffering with hamstring injuries whilst Titus has a knee problem. John Kennedy is back in contention for a reserve team place after a long lay-off with an ankle injury.
Town's reserve match with Portsmouth today is off as the pitch is waterlogged. French loanee Patrice Maurel wouldn't have played anyway as his clearance hadn't arrived.
