Blues and Rams Linked With Owls Defender - Ipswich Town News
Town and Derby County are reported to be keeping tabs on Sheffield Wednesday defender Lewis Buxton.
According to the Mirror the two clubs are eyeing the 31-year-old, who is out of contract in the summer.
Buxton, who is 6ft 1in tall, started his career Portsmouth and spent loan spells with Exeter and Bournemouth before moving on to Stoke City in 2004.
The Newport, Isle of Wight-born right-back or centre-half joined the Owls initially on loan in 2008 before signing permanently a year later.
Meanwhile, Town owner Marcus Evans’s wealth has risen by £65 millon to £765 million, according to this year’s Sunday Times Rich List. Other estimates have previously put Evans’s wealth in the billions.
