Town Fan in People's Pundit Final - Ipswich Town News

Town fan Jake Goodall has reached the final of the Carlsberg People's Pundit competition on talkSPORT and he wants your votes.

Surrey-based Jake, who was once a scholar with Aldershot’s youth set-up, has reached the last five of the competition, which received more than 500 entries.

The winner will be given a place on the talkSPORT panel on the final day of the Premier League season.

I’m an avid Ipswich Town supporter and I’m through to the final of the Carlsberg talkSPORT People’s Pundit competition — and I need your help!

Despite living in the South, I followed in my Dad’s footsteps and have supported the Town since a toddler — I’m 20 now. I get to as many games as possible, but always know exactly how my team are doing.

My career goal is to become a sports presenter, which is why this competition is so important to me. Being a pundit on the last match of the season would be fantastic.

I’m the host of a twice-weekly sports show on Meridian 107fm: this is a voluntary position in community radio and I have built up a good following.

I was a late entry to the talkSPORT competition and was pleased to become the finalist for London and the South.

Since then I’ve spent time with some of my football/pundit heroes and was privileged to spend a day with the other four finalists in BootCamp at Wembley.

I’m the sole ITFC supporter in the final and I’d like to get all fans right behind me with their daily voting, tweets and any other public exposure possible! The votes count for 20% of my final judging score.

To vote for Jake visit the Carlsberg People’s Pundit site here. You can vote once a day with voting closing at midnight on May 14th.
