Patterson in Action for New Zealand U20s - Ipswich Town News
Academy scholar Monty Patterson played the first 68 minutes as New Zealand’s U20s beat Panama 2-1 in the Five Nations Series of friendlies in Auckland overnight.
The games are preparation ahead of the FIFA U20 World Cup which New Zealand are hosting later this month.
On Sunday, Patterson, 18, played the first half as the Junior All Whites lost 3-2 to Australia in Auckland.
New Zealand face Qatar in the final game of the current series on Sunday with further friendlies against Honduras and Austria later in the month.
The Junior All Whites start their U20 World Cup group games against Ukraine on May 30th before taking on the USA on June 2nd and Myanmar on June 5th.
