Bramble Gets Call - Ipswich Town News
Town boss George Burley has decided that Titus Bramble will be the man to replace John McGreal at centre-half on Saturday against Southampton. McGreal misses the game through suspension after picking up five bookings.
Titus impressed his boss in last weekend's friendly againt Alania Vladikavkaz: "Titus will play against Southampton. We are without John McGreal, so Titus will come straight in to replace him. He played in our friendly against Alania Vladikavkaz in Cyprus on Saturday and did well enough to show he is ready to come back."
Finidi George, available for the first time since the African Nations' Cup, is likely to come into midfield. Sixto Peralta is almost certain to miss out with a thigh strain.
