Town Win Family Excellence Award - Ipswich Town News
Town have picked up the Football League’s Family Excellence award for the eighth successive season.
Instigated in 2007, he Football League’s Family Excellence award recognises clubs providing young fans and families with an outstanding experience as part of a scheme which won the Gold Award at the European Professional Football Leagues’ Best Practice Awards.
The Blues were amongst 42 clubs to achieve the award for 2015 with Doncaster, Huddersfield, the MK Dons, Shrewsbury and Tranmere also receiving it for the eighth time.
Football League chief executive, Shaun Harvey, said: "The Football League Family Excellence Award gives clubs a standard to aspire to when planning their efforts to attract more families and young fans to their matches.
"It is hugely encouraging to see so many clubs receiving the accolade, demonstrating The Football League’s ongoing commitment to securing the next generation of fans.”
