Town Praised by League - Ipswich Town News

Town's good performance in the he FA Premier League Survey has been praised by the League's chief executive Richard Scudamore. He felt that this was another fine achievement in a season full of achievement for the Blues.

Scudamore said: "The FA Premier League National Fan Survey was distributed to some 80,000 supporters, making this the largest survey of its type in the world football. That Ipswich Town should receive such a good showing in their first season back in the top flight is testament to their commitment to the fans who have stood the club in such good stead over the years. Combined with qualifying for Europe and winning the Fair Play League the 2000/2001 season proved to be a great success for Ipswich Town both on and off the field of play."

Town are to launch their own survey at the weekend with questionnaires being sent to 50,000 supporters, many of those whose names are currently held on the club's database.
