Champions Reunion Planned - Ipswich Town News

Town are planning to hold a 40th anniversary celebration in honour of the 1961/62 League Championship-winning side. The Blues held an event for the '81 UEFA Cup-winning side earlier in the season.

The dinner will organised by club archivist and secretary to many a Town manager Pat Godbold. It will be a larger than usual reunion of ex-players with all the surviving members of Sir Alf's winning side invited.

The dinner will be held on the weekend of April 12th and 13th.
