Town Face Cambridge in Pre-Season - Ipswich Town News
Town will face League Two Cambridge United in a friendly at the Abbey Stadium on Tuesday 21st July (KO 7.45pm).
The Blues last faced the U’s in pre-season ahead of the 2012/13 season with two goals from Michael Chopra seeing Paul Jewell’s team to a 2-0 victory against the then-Conference side.
Town have been allocated the whole of the South Stand for the match with tickets, which will go on sale in the next week or so, priced at £12 for adults, £8 for concessions and £4 for juniors.
Yesterday, the club announced that the squad will be spending their now traditional week at the Carton House Hotel in Co Kildare before beginning their pre-season fixtures with a game against Shelbourne at Tolka Park, Dublin.
