Town to Make Posh Trip - Ipswich Town News
Town will face Peterborough United in a pre-season friendly at London Road on Saturday 25th July (KO 3pm).
The clubs most recently met in the Championship during the 2012/13 campaign in which Posh were relegated, both games ending in draws.
At Portman Road Lee Tomlin netted for the visitors and DJ Campbell scored from the spot for the Blues as the game ended 1-1, while the London Road match finished 0-0.
The Blues last faced the League One side in pre-season back in 2004 when they ran out 2-1 winners with Pablo Couñago and Ian Westlake on target for Town and Calum Willock for the home side.
