Berra Unused Sub - Ipswich Town News

Blues centre-half Christophe Berra was an unused sub as Scotland beat Qatar 1-0 in a friendly at Easter Road this evening.

AFC Bournemouth’s Matt Ritchie scored the game’s only goal five minutes before half-time.

Scotland next face the Republic of Ireland - who have Berra’s team-mates Daryl Murphy and David McGoldrick in their squad - in a vital Euro 2016 qualifier in Dublin a week on Saturday.

As a result of their summer international involvement, Berra, Murphy and McGoldrick will miss the start of Town pre-season training which begins in the final week of June.
