Open Day Date Set - Ipswich Town News

Town have announced that this year’s Portman Road Open Day will take place on Thursday 30th July.

As in previous years, fans will be able to watch manager Mick McCarthy and his assistant Terry Connor hold a training session on the main Portman Road pitch, before they join the squad to sign autographs and have photos taken pitch-side. There will also be stalls and attractions on the Fieldturf.

Gates will open at 10am with the training session set to start an hour later. More than 4,000 fans attended last year’s event.

Meanwhile, former Blue Jay Emmanuel-Thomas has joined QPR on a three-year deal following his release by Bristol City.
