Fortuna Update: Match and Party Tickets On Sale - Ipswich Town News

With tickets to the Friday 17th July friendly at Fortuna Düsseldorf going on sale today, Ulli Münsterberg from the Fortuna Blues and Liz Edwards, chair of the Town Supporters Club, have have issued an update for all fans travelling to the game.

Many travelling fans have asked if they can buy tickets in advance and as a result, ITFC will have around 800 tickets available to buy, costing £7.50 for the terrace and £11 for the main stand at the Paul-Janes-Stadion.

All travelling fans are strongly recommended to buy their tickets in advance via ITFC Direct with Gold and Silver members and season ticket holders able to purchase theirs from today with general sale starting at 9am on Friday.

The weekend we are in Dusseldorf sees the official season opening for Fortuna Düsseldorf — traditionally this is a big celebration. This year will be no exception, with the big friendship between Fortuna and ITFC fans promising an extra special weekend. The chairman of Fortuna Düsseldorf, the official sponsor and Ulli have already launched the celebrations at a press conference on 9th June.

A special shirt to commemorate the occasion will be on sale, as well as a new friendship scarf.

After the game all fans are invited to a supporters’ party at the nearby Stahlwerk — entrance will be just £3 with tickets available in advance from ITFC Direct.

As well as three dance floors, it will be a great chance to meet other fans. The Fortuna Blues and Supporters Club will have an information stand at the Stahlwerk. It's probably wise to get the party tickets in advance, however, if there are any left they will be made available that evening.

A fans’ football match will take place at Flinger Broich. If you have expressed interest you will receive details once we have details of time and venue.

On Saturday 18th July, from 10am, Town fans will have the opportunity to visit the Esprit Arena, the main home of Fortuna Düsseldorf. Numbers are limited and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If you want to do the tour please email Liz Edwards.
