Taylor Set for Forest Trial - Ipswich Town News
Former Blue Paul Taylor is to join Nottingham Forest on a two-week trial.
Taylor is a free agent having settled his contract with Town in January, although the Blues kept hold of his registration until the end of the season to allow the 27-year-old to move out on loan and he ended the campaign with Blackburn, where he made two starts and three sub appearances.
Earlier in the summer, League One Chesterfield were reported to be interested in the former Peterborough man.
Forest are subject to a Financial Fair Play transfer embargo which prevents them from paying fees but allows them to add to their squad on a one-in, one-out basis up to a maximum of 24 players.
Former Cardiff striker Nicky Maynard, another free agent, is also joining Forest on trial.
