Away Strip Goes on Sale But Delay On Kids' Kit - Ipswich Town News

Town’s new Barcelona-style away strip goes on sale at Planet Blue from tomorrow at 9am, however, there is a delay with the supply of some children’s sizes.

The club's official technical kit supplier, adidas, has informed the club that there are delays with the supply of youth sizes which will impact upon stock levels, however, there will be all sizes of the new shirt will be available for Friday's launch.

James Osborne, adidas’s director of clubs, said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances we can confirm that there will be a short delay in the delivery of the full allocation of kids’ stock to the club.

"adidas would like to officially apologise for any inconvenience these delays might have caused and remain committed to resolving the situation as soon as possible.

"adidas will continue to work closely with the club in the coming weeks and will ensure fans are kept fully up to speed on the situation.”

Town MD Ian Milne added: "We sincerely regret this delay in being able to meet some of the demand for junior shirts, but we are working hard with adidas to remedy the situation as quickly as possible.

"Our partnership with adidas has to date been very successful, as shown by our fans’ demand for both home and away shirts. Please bear with us whilst we overcome this current supply difficulty.”

The new away strip and away goalkeeper’s kit will be at Planet Blue from 9am on Friday, while orders are already being taken online at ITFC Direct. Those placed before 3pm will be despatched for delivery from tomorrow. The new home kit is already on sale.
