New Away Strip Deep Red - Ipswich Town News

Town's new away strip will be deep red with a dark blue trim. Once again the club is asking fans to pick their favourite from a number of designs, although this year there are only two.

The kit will once again be under the club's own Punch brand and will be produced by local company ASD. The company's managing director, Neil Farrar, says he's (ahem): "Pleased as Punch to be working with Ipswich Town on this project. We are all season ticket and boxholders at Portman Road, so to be working on a new away strip design is very exciting."

The kit is made from a revolutionary special knit, apparently exclusive to the design. Farrar explains: "It's a technical fabric with moisture management qualities which basically means it can help keep you dry and comfortable during physical exercise."

Town's Commercial Manager, Steve Mason says of the new designs: "This is the best quality kit yet. We've selected both the colour and styling of the two on show today. We wanted a kit that would not clash with any other in the Premiership, a kit that would give ITFC an individual identity both on and off the pitch and happily either of these will meet that objective."

Unless Crystal Palace get promoted that is. Fans have until March 13th to vote for the kits via the club shops or the official website.
