U18s Win 5-0 at Southwold - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U18s beat Southwold 5-0 in the 20th staging of their annual friendly on the Common.
Trialist left-back Steph Bombelenga put the young Blues in front and striker Ben Morris made it 2-0 at half-time.
Town switched the entire XI at the break and Northern Irish U17 international Conor McKendry, like Morris one of this summer's new full-time scholars, Nick Ingram and Dan Muamba added to the goals.
The U18s also have confirmed home friendlies at Playford Road against Cambridge United on Saturday 18th July and Leyton Orient on Saturday 25th July (both 11am).
U18s first half: Hayes, Daly, Fowler, Robinson, Bombelenga, Morris, Benyu, Hanson, Dozzell, Ford, Ramadan.
U18s second half: Wright, Cole, Cathline, Woolfenden, Jones, Muamba, Meldrum, Maynard, McKendry; Fullwood, Folami (Ingram).
