U18s Lose at Arsenal - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U18s were beaten 2-1 at Arsenal in a behind-closed-doors friendly earlier this afternoon, striker Ben Morris, one of the new intake of first-year scholars, scoring the Blues’ goal.
Morris put the young Blues ahead just before half-time but the Gunners struck back via Vlad Dragomir and Marcus Agyei-Tabi (pen) after the break.
The U18s are next in action against Cambridge United at Playford Road on Saturday morning (KO 11am).
Meanwhile, Danish U18 international midfielder Victor Guldbrandsen is set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury last week.
