U21s Start Season at Leeds - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U21s will start their season with an away game at Leeds United on Monday 10th August (KO 7pm) with their first home match against Coventry City at Playford Road on Monday 17th August (KO 1pm).
The young Blues will again be in the Professional U21 Development League Two South for clubs with Category Two academies.
Sides play each team in the South division twice and the teams in the North division once, a total of 27 matches.
The teams finishing in the top two positions in the divisions meet in a knockout stage at the end of the season to determine the league champions. Last season the Blues finished fifth.

The U21s are in friendly action on Friday evening against Vanarama National League South side Bishop’s Stortford (KO 7.45pm).
