Clarke Starting for Pompey - Ipswich Town News
Blues defender Matt Clarke is starting his second friendly for Portsmouth at Woking this evening.
Earlier today, Pompey manager Paul Cook revealed that the clubs are in talks regarding the 18-year-old joining his League Two side on loan.
Clarke previously played the first 74 minutes of Portsmouth’s 2-1 victory over Coventry on Tuesday evening.
Also on trial with Pompey and starting tonight’s match is former Blues keeper Brian Murphy, 32, who was released by QPR at the end of last season.
