Weekend Links - Ipswich Town News
Town are being linked with a move for Bradford City midfielder and mate of David Johnson, Gareth Whalley. The 28-year-old Mancunian could be a summer Bosman target for Town. Meanwhile Titus Bramble is reported to have clubs other than Newcastle on his tail.
Whalley joined the Bantams from Crewe for £600,000 in 1998, and has made 117 appearances at Valley Parade, scoring five goals. He is out of contract in June and Town could be interested in taking him to Portman Road.
This weekend's Bramble links are with Manchester United, Arsenal and Charlton. All are reported to be keeping an eye on the Ipswich born defender, according to the tabloids.
