Town Behaving Well - Ipswich Town News

Town are flying high in both the on-field and off-field behaviour leagues. The players remain in fourth in the Fair Play League while the supporters are in fifth position in the snappily-titled Premiership Behaviour of the Public Fair Play League.

In the Fair Play League Town have a score of 8.19 and are fourth behind Manchester United (8.63), Liverpool (8.32) and Fulham (8.26). The Fair Play League could give Town their best chance of getting back into Europe. The best behaved side not already in Europe from the best behaved League wins a place in the UEFA Cup. Two others drawn from a hat also win places in the UEFA.

Points are awarded for not getting booked or sent off as well as behaviour towards opponents and officials (lucky we haven't had Andy D'Urso lately). Positive play is also taken into account as is the conduct of the club's officials.

The supporters' league sees Town with an average score per match of 8.31 points (out of 10), behind Liverpool (8.68), Middlesbrough (8.48), Fulham (8.44) and West Ham (8.41).
