Hewitt Joins Notts County - Ipswich Town News

Released Blues full-back or midfielder Elliott Hewitt has joined League Two Notts County on a two-year deal.

The 21-year-old left Town at the end of last season after three years at Portman Road, having signed from Macclesfield in the summer of 2012.

In total the Wales U21 international made 10 starts and six sub appearances for Town without scoring and also spent time on loan at Gillingham and Colchester while a Blues player.

Hewitt told the Magpies official site: "[Notts County chief scout] Guy Branston called me couple of weeks ago and that’s when I first heard.
