Midfielder Monty Patterson, who was stretchered off during last night’s 2-1 U21s win at Leeds, is set to undergo a scan this afternoon.
The New Zealand U23 international, who had come on as a sub, fell awkwardly and was treated for several minutes on the pitch before being stretchered off in the 63rd minute with what reports suggested may be a broken leg.
Patterson, 18, has travelled back to Suffolk and will undergo a scan to determine the extent of the injury.
Blues physio Matt Byard told the club website: "Monty is back with us and we will know more after the scan later today.”
