Former Town striker Kevin Wilson has been named first team coach at Bristol Rovers until the end of the season. Wilson left his previous position as manager of Northampton towards the end of last year.
Current Rovers manager Garry Thompson has worked before with Wilson, known at Portman Road as 'Jocky'. He was alongside him during part of Wilson's spell at Sixfields.
The appointment is until the end of the season, however depnding on results it may become a long-term job for the Northern Irish international.
