Parr in U21s Facing Coventry - Ipswich Town News
Full-back Jonny Parr is amongst those in action for the U21s in their first home game of the season against Coventry City at Playford Road this afternoon (KO 1pm).
Parr is on the way back after a niggly thigh injury which hampered him throughout pre-season and prevented his involvement in Town’s first three first-team matches.
Also involved against the Sky Blues will be out-of-favour winger Cameron Stewart, left-back Myles Kenlock, centre-half Josh Yorwerth, who scored on his senior debut in the Capital One Cup tie against Stevenage last Tuesday, and midfielder Adam McDonnell.
The Blues youngsters got their campaign off to a good start by beating Leeds 2-1 at Elland Road last week.
