Sears Signs New Deal - Ipswich Town News
Striker Freddie Sears has signed a new contract which runs until the summer of 2019 with an option for a further season.
Sears, 25, joined the Blues from Colchester for a fee of £100,000 in January and scored nine goals in his first half-season at Portman Road.
The former West Ham youngster, who was previously contracted until June 2017, netted his first goal of this campaign during Saturday’s 2-1 home victory over Sheffield Wednesday.
