Pre-Deadline Target? - Ipswich Town News
Town boss George Burley has admitted that he might be looking for a new player before the March 28th deadline. Previously the Town boss had said he would not be looking for any new faces until the summer.
Burley said: "We are keeping an eye on the situation. There is nothing imminent, but I wouldn't completely rule it out.
"You just never know and we'll wait and see. I believe we have a strong squad, but we have some really big games coming up."
Gareth Whalley, linked with Town at the weekend, will not be a target. Burley has denied any interest in the ex-Crewe midfielder.
