Town Given Initial 5,500 Allocation for Manchester United Tie - Ipswich Town News

Town have been handed an initial allocation of 5,500 tickets for the Capital One Cup third round tie at Old Trafford on Wednesday 23rd September, which now kicks-off at 8pm, however, the club say that the Red Devils are helping to ensure that all Blues supporters who want to make the trip should get a seat.

Tickets for the game, the Blues’ first visit to Old Trafford since September 2001, are priced at £45 for adults (21-65), £35.75 for 18 to 20-year-olds, £25.50 for over-65s and 16-17-year-olds and £5 for under-16s but with Town season ticket holders and members receiving a £5 discount (except for under-16s). Prices may vary for tickets subsequently issued in other areas of the stadium.

The initial 5,500 seats are in the upper tier of the East Stand and go on sale via ITFC Direct and Planet Blue, one ticket for each customer number, next week using the usual priority scheme from 9am on the following days:

Gold members - Tuesday 1st September.
Season ticket holders - Thursday 3rd September.
Silver members - Monday 7th September.
General sale - Tuesday 8th September.

You can find full details of ticketing as well as coach travel on the club site here.

The Blues have also announced that the Birmingham match on Friday 18th September (KO 7.45pm), which is live on Sky, will be a Kid for a Quid game with under-16s able to watch the match for £1 in all areas of the ground.

The Bristol City match on Saturday 26th September (KO 3pm) is a season ticket holder promotion game with season ticket holders able to buy a further four tickets for £10 for adults, £8 for concessions and £3 for juniors.
