Maitland-Niles in England U19 Squad - Ipswich Town News

Loanee winger Ainsley Maitland-Niles has been named in the England U19 squad for friendlies in Germany and Croatia next month.

The England youngsters, who are coached by Aidy Boothroyd, take on the Germans in Bergisch Gladbach on Friday 4th September and Croatia in Zagreb the following Monday.

The games are preparation for the first qualifying round of the Euro U19 Championship, which take place in October, when they will face Finland, Italy and hosts Macedonia.

Maitland-Niles, 17, who is with the Blues for the season from Arsenal, has previously won caps at U17 and U18 levels but this is his first U19 call.
