U18s Lose to Palace - Ipswich Town News
A very young Town U18s side were beaten 4-0 by Crystal Palace at Playford Road this morning.
With most of the U21s squad involved in the Capital One Cup tie on Tuesday, the U21s side which lost 3-0 at Millwall yesterday featured several U18s regulars and as a knock-on effect today’s U18s starting XI included four schoolboys.
Meanwhile, the U16s drew 5-5, also with Palace, the Eagles equalising with the last kick of the game.
U18s: Wright, Cahill, Marshall, Salaudeen (Hanson 50), Daly, Muamba (Wilton 69), Nydam, Maynard, Morris, Brown, Meldrum (Ford 46). Unused: Collins, McGavin.
