Injury News - Ipswich Town News

Town report that Sixto Peralta is likely to be in contention for Wednesday's clash with Blackburn at Ewood Park. Peralta has missed the last two matches with a thigh strain. Jermaine Wright is more of a doubt with his groin strain.

Town physio Dave Williams said of Peralta: "Sixto has been coming on well and we are hopeful that he will have recovered in time to be considered for the Blackburn game."

As for Wright, who picked up a groin strain in the Southampton match and missed out at Leeds, Williams is less sure: "Jermaine has a sore groin and it's taking time to settle down. It's still bothering him but it's too early to say one way or the other about his chances of being available for the Blackburn match. We will keep working with him and see how it goes over the next few days."

Chris Makin missed out at Leeds due to his ankle knock, but given that he was said to be close to being fit there, it would be s surprise if he wasn't available for selection at Ewood Park.
