Hulse Linked - Ipswich Town News
Town are being linked with young Crewe attacker Rob Hulse. The frontman was one of the Railwaymen's more impressive players when the sides met in the Worthington Cup earlier in the season.
Hulse and strike partner Dean Ashton have both been linked with a number of Premiership clubs recently. Ashton was linked with Town early last year and was involved in the recent U19 international at Portman Road.
Both have been watched by scouts since coming into the first team in 2000. TWTD columnist John Wark was impressed when he took a look at them when chief scout at Coventry City.
Hulse, 22, has made 77 senior appearances for home-town club Crewe and has scored 20 goals.
While George Burley says he may make a move for a player before deadline day, bringing in another striker looks unlikely at present.
