League Leaders Leiston in FA Cup Action on Non-League Day - Ipswich Town News

This year’s Non-League Day takes place on Saturday and Ryman League Premier Division leaders Leiston are inviting Town fans to join them for their Emirates FA Cup third qualifying round tie against National North Gloucester City at Victory Road (KO 3pm).

Gloucester play a league higher than their Suffolk hosts but the Blues of Leiston, who currently sit in their highest League position in their 135-year history, will be hoping home advantage and a vociferous home crowd can get them through to the next round and just one match from potentially rubbing shoulders with the likes of Colchester United, Portsmouth or Sheffield United in the first round proper.

Admission prices are £10 for adults, £7 for concessions and £4 for under-16s. There will be a match programme (£2), hot food and excellently priced ales in the clubhouse.

Taking place annually during international breaks, Non-League Day provides clubs with a platform to promote community football, while giving fans of Premier League and Championship sides a chance to show support for a local non-league side.

You can find more information on Non-League Day here, while directions to Victory Road and more can be found on Leiston’s website here.
