Bru's Mauritius Draw But Exit World Cup - Ipswich Town News

Midfielder Kevin Bru helped Mauritius to a 0-0 draw with Kenya in Nairobi this afternoon but his side bowed out of the 2018 World Cup at the round one qualifying stage having lost the first leg of the tie 5-2 at home on Wednesday.

Bru started today's game and won his fifth full cap, alongside his older brother Jonathan who skippers Les Dodos, before being replaced in the 84th minute.

Parisian Bru, who qualifies for Club M via his parents, previously represented France at U19 level but opted to switch allegiance in 2011.

Meanwhile, Christophe Berra has been named in the Scotland starting line-up for their final Euro 2016 fixture against Gibraltar in Portugal. The Scots can no longer qualify for the finals.
