No Holland Bid - Ipswich Town News

George Burley has dismissed reports that Spurs are interested in Town skipper Matt Holland. Holland was linked with a move to White Hart Lane over the weekend, but this story appears to have had little truth in it.

Burley said: "We have had no contact with Spurs regarding Matt Holland."

Meanwhile the Town manager has reiterared that players will leave should Town be relegated, however he says that no player has a clause in his contract allowing them to leave should relegation occur.

David Sheepshanks made it clear that players would leave if Town are relegated earlier in the season. The club would lose £10 million immediately should they be relegated.
